Run the following steps as root.
1) # cp /usr/dt/config/zh_CN.UTF-8/0020.dtims /usr/dt/config/C/
2) # cp -r /usr/openwin/lib/locale/zh_CN.UTF-8/imsscript/
/usr/openwin/lib/locale/C/
logout and re-login, chinese input method should be ready.

登录的时候选英文的进去，但是安装的时候要安装中文包。 [/quote]选择utf-8的英文进入后，打开office，此时会出现IME的选项框，选择其中的s-chinese，关闭office。此后就可以在任何窗口下使用ctrl+space切换中英文了。C的状态下不会出来IME。
但是在英文界面下使用office输入中文会有某些字无法显示的问题。如果选择中文utf-8进入后，哦office中不会出现这个问题。请问该怎么解决。
我已经试过在两种状态下都选择相同的字体，但是仍没有解决问题。请高手指点。

我试了一下，如果我把export LANG=C从.profile文件去掉，重新登陆时，就是中文界面，如果加上就是英文界面，右下角有输入法图标，我现在就是在solaris下发贴
可能你没有重新登陆
还有就是我的solaris是05/0 ... [/quote]
真的不行。我现在是5.10版本。我觉得应该根版本没有关系。
